Marisota Pampering Morning and a Fan Meeting.

Last Friday I was invited by Marisota to come along to their Pampering Morning to take a look at the SS14 launch and also get a free beauty treatment.

I took a day off work and took the train up to London. The event was being held at this little place called Cucumba which was a small, but very stylish beauty salon. I was welcomed by a smiling face asking me if I was there for the event. They served me a drink while I was waiting for my treatment as I arrived a little bit early. I had chosen to have a Brightening Congestion Facial as I love facials.
I was also offered to take a look at the clothes that Marisota had brought for us to take a look at. I really liked what they had brought as it was lots of bright colours and prints. I will let the photos talk for itself, but I really loved some of the dresses.

This sequined jumpsuit is fantastic.

The Nautical trend has reached Marisota too.
These are my favourite three picks from the collection. I wouldn't be surprised if all three end up in my wardrobe.

I know that from this maxi dress I would get a lot of wear at work throughout the summer.

This dress was lovely and had a lovely cut out detail at the back. This dress would be perfect for a wedding I'm going to.

I love the monochrome pattern. Would look lovely with cropped leggings and red patent shoes.

The facial I had was so lovely. I had a lovely face massage too and I swear that at some point I dozed off. :) It smelled divine too and the girl that did my facial was so nice and friendly. Best facial I have ever had so I can recommend Cucumba with all my heart!

After the facial I hung around looking at more clothes and accessoiries and talked with the lovely girls from the Marisota team while I waiting for Debz to finish her treatment as we were going out for lunch together.

Lucia joined me and Debz for lunch and we went to a pub just off Carnaby Street. I had never been to Carnaby Street which is a little gem in London. I loved it there. So nice, lots of cool shops and a great place to venture off from hectic Oxford Street.

Beautiful ladies.

Mmmm Macaroni and Cheese

We decided to go into Irregular Choice's shop in Carnaby Street and in there we met the lovely Kate that spotted Debz and said she read her blog. She then saw Lucia and said she read her blog too and then when I joined them (as I was talking to one of the shop assistants about taking photos) she said she read my blog too. She was such a lovely lady and her husband was really nice too. She was so smiley and chatty and we had our photo taken with her as well. We felt like celebrities for the few minutes. After this we couldn't really believe that it happened, it was quite amazing that we had been spotted by someone that read all our blogs. I thought it was such a lovely experience and it was lovely to meet you Kate. Hope you like reading this and here is the photo in case you want it. :)

I want to thank Marisota for a relaxing morning and I will definitely be buying some of the items I saw.

Have you taken a look at Marisota's latest collection? Anything special that has caught your eye?
