Sunny spring and warm summer. In a time when most people are fuzzing about Christmas I'm thinking more about next year. I can't wait to get this year over and done with. I've never been a big fan of Christmas so instead I'm looking ahead. For a new year, new possibilities, new allowance of holiday at work and new seasons.

So when Simply Be invited me to their Spring Summer 15 blogger event I was very happy. I couldn't wait.

It was held in the amazing Sanderson Hotel in London and I have to admit that this hotel is amazing. Such stunning and trendy decor and the elevator was spectacular. It was like an observatory with its 3 dimensional elevators.It was like taking the lift to another galaxy. We had to take a private lift up to the penthouse apartment where the event was. The penthouse flat was very impressive, but I have to admit I didn't notice this much until I saw the photos on my lap top after I came home. I was blended by something else. I had only eyes for the clothes. What a feast for my eyes. There were colours, there were dresses and summery outfits in colours I love. Yellow, orange, pink, mint green and so on... colours everywhere. It was like I was in colour heaven.

I really hope this adorable fatkini will come in my cup size as I loved it.

As you can see there is a lot to look forward to from Simply Be next season. Aren't you getting excited about the warmer and lighter seasons? I also liked the price level of the items as sometimes the clothes from Simply Be can be quite pricey. But I hope that the price will stay as they were priced on the hanger as it was pleasant news.

Although I like the winter and I don't mind warm and cosy coats and knits, my heart skipped a beat when I saw this beauty.

My favourite dress... I'm in love.

Isn't it stunning. If you have read my blog this autumn you will know I'm so in love with yellow and this dress is stunning. It will definitely come with me on my holiday in Tenerife in February and to Mexico in May. Just wondering about the sizing as dresses these days seems to be so off in sizing, so I hope I don't have to buy three different sizes to find my perfect fit.

The event was my first out and about since I had my illness and it was so much fun. So much fun to meet up with all the lovely blogger girls. Simply Be had a fun screen that we could upload our photos to Instagram and then have them printed out. I loved this as we all took selfies and uploaded them to Instagram. Simply Be was a brand I heard of not very long after I moved over here. I found so many clothes that I loved and I didn't have much money so I couldn't afford to buy much back then.
Since I'm working now I can afford to buy more from them to my great pleasure and I am so excited everytime I have made an order.

Today I will show off two of my favourite buys from Simply Be.

The fabulous Longline Wool Biker Style Coat and my lovely red animal print boots that I have already written about HERE.

The coat is on offer now for only £61.50 and it is well worth every penny. I bought it when it first came out, but it has been too warm to wear it until now. It's a bit colder now, so I'm looking forward to wearing it more in the rest of the winter.

I normally don't like coats, but this coat is light and feels less chunky and yet it is so warm. It's flattering and it looks stylish. I love the biker design with the PU trim collar and the zip that can be closed all the way up if it is windy. It feels and looks very luxurious and a lot of people have commented on how lovely it is.

This is a coat I can easily wear in the years to come. It's elegant, stylish and it goes with everything.








My amazing dress is from Tkmaxx and it is a rare find for me. I never find anything at Tkmaxx, but I found this little gem a couple of years ago for £30 and I've worn it lots in the winter months. It is so warm, but yet so stylish. Love the way it is knitted and the sleeves are so pretty. Also the details around the neck is so cute. Very feminine dress and very me.

I love wearing my coat and my boots together. They are like match made in heaven. To brighten up the black coat the pop of red in the boots makes it more interesting.

Mike and I went down to Hastings today to meet up with Leah and her husband James. It's an almost two hours drive from Guildford to Hastings, but if you read my blog you probably know that Mike and I love going for long drives. We make playlists on Spotify before we go so we have music to sing along to. We both sing loud, mostly me, and are enjoying our drives so much.

Leah and James' flat has an amazing sea view and today the waves were bigger and sea was rougher than I've seen it in a long time. This means that it was a very blustery day and since Leah and I had planned to have a shoot together it meant a lot of funny windswept photos.

The photos are taken in this beautiful park called St. Leonards Garden and as we were posing for the photos we were almost blown over by the extreme gusts of wind much to the amusement of two ladies that walked past.

After we had taken the photos we went in to Hastings to get some lunch. We walked along the sea front when the heavens opened. James kindly offered Mike and me an umbrella. No sooner had we put it up then a 80mph gust of wind turned the umbrella inside out and ripped off all the material of the frame which shot off like a bullet and would have ended up in Dover if it hadn't been for the post that stopped it. The look on Mike's face when it happened was priceless and we almost pissed ourselves laughing. Just a shame we don't have it on film!!! However, the frame was in perfect condition, but offered little protection against the weather!

The pub we went to is called Ye Olde Pump House and is the same pub we visited last time we went to Hastings. The food is delicious and I had a late vegetarian brunch which was really nice.


I always have so much fun with Leah. :) She is so bubbly and so easy to talk to. James is lovely too. They make such a cute couple.

Have to thank Leah for welcoming us into her home and also for all the lovely clothes she gave me. I will bring some of them on holiday and it will be outfit posts to come.

Will make an outfit post about my outfit in my next post.

Wow, what a weekend it was. I was so busy and travelled across big parts of South East England to see one of my favourite bands The Young Knives. This is a plus size blog so I will move on to writing about fashion instead of rambling on about music.

I was reading on Twitter that lovely Steph from Seeing Spots wanted to do 30x30 challenge so I asked her what it was and she explained the challenge to me. It is as simple as chose 30 items and make 30 outfits. This is not including outer wear, shoes and accessories. She had seen this idea originally on DYI Fatshions blog that you can read HERE. I had never heard of it before, but by Steph explaining it to me I thought it would be a good way of making me mix things I have in my wardrobe. Cause who of us hasn't said that we don't have anything to wear even with the wardrobes overflowing. So I look at this as a way of making myself thinking differently and outside the box.
