I gave myself a promise this year that I would radically buy less clothes this year as I've got tonnes of it and not very much space since Mike and I live in a small studio flat. So instead I'm going to re-discover my wardrobe and also do a lot of alternation to clothes I already own instead of wasting money on something I think I might like and that never end up being worn.

But right before the new year Mike bought me a couple of things from New Look that I loved and knew would become firm favourites of mine. He called it a getting better present since I was in hospital and needed a little cheering up. He is so sweet to me and he has been the best support while I've been in hospital.

I've been a huge fan of Manic Street Preachers since I was 17. Their glamorous style always was something I loved, but never dared to adopt living in Norway. So now at the age of 41 and a half(it's important with the half!!!:D) I'm finally the proud owner of a Manics coat!!!! And I love it! It's so warm and nice for these very cold days we have in England at the moment. Since I got it, I've been living in it.

 
  Sunday and I have been to work! Exciting weekend huh? I'm going away on holiday on Thursday so therefore I have had to try and get some overtime done so I don't have to leave everything for my colleague. I am working as an Renewal Underwriter for Motor Trade and we are a very little office. We are two Renewal Underwriters,  so when one goes on holiday it will be very busy for the other. So have done a bit of overtime to try and sort things out.At the same time I'm struggling with my health so I'm hanging in here, just about. I really need this holiday coming up. Will hopefully work wonders with sun, beach and sea.  I had an order from Forever 21 come last week and I had ordered this really lovely polka dot peplum dress so I put that on even if it was just me and my husband in the office. I love it!!! It looks great on, it looks very edgy and sexy and the burgundy colour is great. Very stylish and is a perfect dress to take from day to night with just a quick change of accessories. I wore it with my lovely last season leather jacket from Evans(similar jacket can be found here), tights, my Primark brogues and a fold over handbag from Primark today, but I would easily wear it with a classic cardigan later and feel great in the office. The only bad point I have about this dress is that due to my big boobs the top half of it looks a bit streched and the fabric looks a bit see through in a certain light. This means that I would have to wear a cardigan over it to disguise.it a bit which is a shame since the dress is so comfortable and flattering. It comes at a cheap price do I guess you get what you pay for.   XXX Mookie

It's Friday!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D Finally Friday. It has been a long hard week this week as I've been struggling with head aches all week after my fainting Friday last week. Been to work every day so when I have come home in the evenings I have collapsed in bed totally exhausted. Have been feeling a bit better every day so that is good for the weekend as I'm going to my sister in law which I'm looking very much forward to. Going to a maket as well, so I will keep my eyes out for a bargain (Oh, I forgot to mention that my shopping ban is over!!!) or two... :)   Today it is dress down Friday at work so that means that I can be a bit more adventurous in my clothes.   I got an Asos delivery the other day and among the things I got was this very cute and fun Check print top. I knew my colleagues at work would comment on it and they did. One guy said that they could lay me on the floor and use me as a chess board. :)   The top itself is lovely. Nice soft cotton, not much stretch, but still very comfortable. The peplum top makes my curves look great and it makes me feel like a million dollars. I'm wearing jeggings with fake leather panels down the side. Don't remember where I bought it, but they are great. Very versatile and thick good quality so I can use them when it gets colder as well. Since it still is ok temperature out there I only wore this with red flats from last season New Look. And of course my signature lippy!! :)
