A few weeks ago Lisa from Diary Of A Size 22 and I decided to do a challenge together where the aim was to find some really good plus size style bargains for less than £20. Both of us are bargain hunters and who doesn't like saving money, but still look stylish?

Lisa and I met up last weekend for a fun filled day of shopping, going out for lunch and having the photos taken. It was a fun day and Lisa is such a great person to be around. Easy going and we are having a right laugh together. We have become very good friends over the last few months so it's always so much fun when we meet up.

When I started thinking about what to buy for this challenge, I wanted to do something summery and I wanted to do two looks if possible with accessories and shoes. I love getting most possible for my money so I was so happy when I managed to find a tunic top, shoes, skirt and accessories for less than £20!!!

A few weeks ago Mike and I went down to New Forest and I was wearing my favourite print, Polka Dots!!! I never ever get tired of it so when I saw this beautiful little black dress from TU at Sainsburys on sale for a bargain price of £6 I didn't think twice. I have three other black and white polka dot dresses, but I couldn't leave it behind. I'm glad I didn't as it is such a versatile gem of a dress. I wear it to the office a lot and it is perfect. I feel very nice and the length is great for work. Can wear it without leggings or tights which always is a plus for me in the warmer weather.


I like they little keyhole detail at the front of the dress. It gives a sneak peak to my cleavage without revealing too much I'm wearing with 3/4 length leggings from TU too. Shoes are from F&F at Tesco and the entire outfit cost me £12!! Sunglasses are from Asos last season and my necklace is a gift from Mike.



I rarely find something at TU as opposed to George at Asda or F&F at Tesco, but when I find something it is something I end up wearing a lot. I don't look very often at their clothing apart from stocking up on their leggings as they are my favourites, but I do look in the sales sometimes.

The horses in the New Forest seemed to like my dress too as they were very friendly and wanted to cuddle.

Isn't it cute?? And so little. :)

And all of a sudden I'm wearing my glasses so I can see properly. :)

Mike got a cuddle too. :)

Since I moved to England I have been travelling around a fair bit with my husband. I have been to most parts of the country and there are few things I love more than English Countryside.

Over the weekend I went to visit friends in beautiful Royal Windsor. It is such a lovely town with the castle and it's lovely streets. Lots of nice places to shop as well. I didn't buy anything this time, but I treated myself to a really lovely pampering session of having my nails done, have a pedicure and having my eyebrows tinted and threaded all ready for my holiday.

After me and my friend had been pampering ourselves we met up with our partners and cute little Jacob. He is a sweetheart. He is 19 months old, but he is so grown for his age and we had a great time with them in the park playing. 

On the way back from Windsor Mike and I stopped in Old Windsor and went for a walk along the river. The view was lovely and perfect as backdrop for taking some photos of outfit of the day.

I was wearing this very versatile denim dress from TU at Sainsburys. I picked it up in a sale last year and I have worn it lots with lots of different things. It can be teamed up with jumpers, leggings and boots in the winter, wear it open over leggings and a top and as I wore it with a cute top under and a cardigan over. My top is really a short bodycon dress from New Look Inspire that I bought this summer when I was in London. It was a bit too cold to go without a cardigan so I chose a plain black one and clipped a big pink flower on it. I also wore my lace leggings from Primark that I wrote about in a previous post.
