My Passionate Lovedrobe Affair.

Sometimes you see a dress that you wish that came in your favourite colour. Last year I saw this beautiful dress on some other bloggers in black and thought how beautiful it would've been in red which is my favourite colour. But in plus size clothing I don't normally has that many choices so I was tempted to buy the black one. I never got around to it.

Then this year I saw this dress in RED on a couple of other bloggers and I wasted no time. Since I had been so good this year and hardly bought any clothes I decided to treat myself to it. It was red and it had the classic vintage style that I like so much.

It's from Lovedrobe via Simply Be and from experience I know that Lovedrobe can come up small in size so I chose this dress in size 26 to give room for my boobs and that was a good decision. There is no stretch in this dress, so if you have big boobs then I would go for a bigger size than your normal size.

Isn't it just gorgeous? I am totally in love with it and the red colour is perfect! This dress is what I would call perfect for all occasions as you could easily wear it to work, you could wear it on a day out, on a night out or to a bigger event like a Christening or birthday.

The fabric is medium weight and the dress falls really nicely. No need to iron either which is an extra plus. It has very comfortable and sassy short sleeves which I'm so happy aren't lined as I like the contrast to the skin. Red works so well on pale skin. It's one of my favourite combinations.

Normally I prefer dresses with a big lower neckline, but this dress if far from making me feel suffocated. I really like this neckline as it still opens up my chest a bit.

It zips up at the side and it gives you a really nice shape thanks to the lovely full skirt. It's a good length on me as well. It's described as a midi, but on me(5'6") it hits me right under the knees so it's the perfect length in my opinion.

Red dress and red lips!!! Never too much red!!!

The open crocheted design is stunning and delicate.

I teamed this beautiful dress with these just as stunning sandals from New Look. I've had them a little while, but never worn them as I bought them for upcoming holidays to Spain and Greece in the spring and summer. I love the lacing and the gold heel of these sandals. It makes them perfect for a glamming up your outfits on holiday. But that being said, they are also so comfortable to walk in so I'm sure that these sandals will be used a lot this summer!

I'm not being paid by Lovedrobe to say this, but if you're looking for a dress that is so versatile for most times you want to wear something beautiful and well fitting so go go go and get it before you're too late.

  2. This dress is so lovely! I always find finding dresses hard as so many are sleeveless, low cut or bum-scrappingly short. As you said, it's super versatile - I might have to add it to my own wardrobe ;)

    1. Ooooh that sounds really sexy. :) I chose sandals as it was a nice and warm day, but in autumn and winter boots would be absolutely a knock out. :)

  11. I love a red lip, it goes with everything. I sadly can't wear red clothes as I'm ginger and it just clashes. Lovely dress you got, and I love those shoes. I just bought a pair of heels from New Look, always have such great shoes :)
