Weekend memories from a special travel.

Sat here in the night and couldn't sleep. My thoughts are somewhere else. In my childhood paradise. The place I once used to visit so often, nowadays not often enough, the place where my dear dad is resting in peace and the place that has captured my heart forever!  I wanted to share some photos from where I come from in Norway. The lovely archipelago of Lofoten. A wonderful place and the gem of my life. The beautiful, wild and majestic nature there has made me the person I am. It is far far north in Norway and it does put its mark on everyone coming from there.

I will let the photos do the rest of the talking. You will soon see why!

My childhood home. Where I grew up. So sad face...

So happy to bring the love of my life to my home.
My dear dad. Miss you forever Pappa!

  4. I do feel blessed to have grown up in such a place and its beauty. :) I still have a huge property up there that I'm thinking about building a house or something on. :) My daughter want to use it too. She is dreaming of moving there. xx
