On the way back from work the other day we drove past one of my favourite places in Surrey. Very often when we drive past in the morning it looks so stunning with sunshine and a low mist over the river and the fields. Since it was between Christmas and New Year we were allowed to go home earlier and on the way home Mike and I saw this beautiful display that Mother Nature had put on for us. Needless to say I had to stop and take photos. As it was quite a good light, I thought I could do some outfit photos too since I liked the outfit I was wearing.
På vei tilbake fra jobb her om dagen kjørte vi forbi en av mine favorittplasser her i Surrey. Veldig ofte når vi kjører forbi om morgenen ser det så fantastisk ut med solskinn og morgen dis over elven og jordene. Siden det var i romjula hadde vi faatt lov til og gå fra jobb tidligere og det var altså paa vei hjem Mike og jeg så hva Moder Jord hadde laget til oss. Unødvendig og si at jeg måtte stoppe og ta bilder. Og siden lyset var ganske bra tenkte jeg at det var en god mulighet og ta noen antrekksbilder siden jeg likte hva jeg hadde på meg.
Wearing my blanket wrap from New Look that I bought in the autumn sometime. It's so warm and I love throwing it over a simple blank outfit to make it a bit more exciting. I wear it both with and without a belt, but I think that the belt adds more shape to the outfit. It also keeps the blanket in the same place so I don't have to keep correcting it if it is windy.
Jeg har på meg dette pledd sjalet om jeg kan kalle det det på norsk. Det er fra New Look og jeg kjøpte det i høst. Det er veldig godt og varmt og jeg bruker og kaste det på meg over et enkelt sort antrekk for og gjøre det litt mer interessant. Jeg bruker sjalet både med og uten belte, men med et belte syns jeg det gir litt mer form. Det holder også sjalet på rett plass hvis det er vind.
I wore the blanket with black leggings with contrasting PU panels from F&F and a black jumper with lace inserts from City Chic. My lovely animal print ankle boots from Simply Be and a brand new forest green handbag from Bessie. It was a Christmas present from Mike and I love it. The colour is stunning and it's big so I can fit all my lipsticks in it!!! (For all that haven't met me, I do tend to bring with me at least 12-15 lipsticks at any time, just in case). *lipstick whore*
Jeg bruker sjalet sammen med sorte tights som har falskt skinn parti på siden og en sort genser med blonder på armene. Jeg elsker de dyreprint ankel støvlettene jeg har på meg. Håndveska mi er en julegave fra Mike og jeg elsker den. Fargen er helt nydelig og den er så stor at jeg kan ha alle leppestiftene mine i den. (Til alle som ikke har møtt meg, jeg bruker og ha med meg minst 12-15 leppestifter hvor enn jeg går, bare sånn i tilfelle.) *Leppestift hore*
Adding my belt around the wrap at the front, but not the back as I think it gives a bit more to the outfit.
Hvis jeg tar på meg et belte mens jeg bruker sjalet, så tar jeg beltet på rundt midjen min, men ikke bak for jeg syns det ser bedre ut med bakdelen løs.

Mike was as always taking the lovely photos of me. Without him I wouldn't be able to get as good photos as I have. He is so supportive, patient and puts up with my comments (sometimes harsh ones) if I'm not happy.
Mike var som alltid den som tok bildene av meg. Uten han ville det ikke bli noen av de gode bildene som jeg har på bloggen min. Han er så støttende, tålmodig og tåler til og med mine til dels skarpe kommentarer dersom jeg er kritisk til bildene.
I really like this item and I might invest in another one if they are on sale somewhere. I find them very useful when I'm inside too if I get a bit cold or when Mike and I are on one of our travels. Useful in the car and on the plane.
Jeg liker dette plagget så veldig at jeg må kanskje investere i enda et hvis jeg finner et i salgene. De er også veldig nyttige hvis du er kald når du er inne også eller hvis jeg og Mike er ute på en av våre reiser. Nyttig både i bilen og på flyet.
