A week before I went on holiday I was contacted by Fashion World* which asked me if I wanted to do a review of Liz McClarnon range of swimwear. I suggested I could compare if the different styles would give any support and how they looked on bigger girls like myself. I love the prints in this range. They are so cute and vivid colours tick the boxes for me.


First out I am going to share the bikini with you. I have never ever owned a bikini before, so I was conquering my fear to be reviewing a bikini, but here we go.




I chose the gorgeous flamingo print for the bikini and I dreaded the the top would be too small for my huge boobs, but I sized up to a size 26 to accommodate my girlies. I wouldn't say it is the best support I could have had since there is no wires in the top, but it is a lot better than I expected. The top is a halterneck. Normally when I wear halternecks it kills my neck due to the weight of my breasts. I did not feel any discomfort wearing this though. It felt comfortable.But the straps are streched as you can see in this photo


I guess it depends on what you feel comfortable with personally. The cups could have been bigger for me (I'm a 40M cup), but I think for most girls they will be big enough as they are stretchy. The foam cups can also be removed if you need more space and this helps in making them more covering. I have the cups in in these photos.

The bikini bottoms are gorgeous!! I love them! They are so cleverly designed cause they have drawstrings on the sides so that you can choose the leg cut you prefer. I like mine wider so I chose to keep them longer.



Wearing a bikini is not for everyone, but I think that the more you don't care what other people think the easier it will be for you to wear one. I had never thought I would wear a bikini to a beach, but since trying this one on and taking the photos it has made me more courageous to do that. English summer can't come soon enough so I can go down to the south coast and wear my lovely flamingo bikini.

What I like so much about this range is that it comes in all sizes from 12-32 which means that it cater for a lot of sizes.

I think this design is so sexy, you get a real pin up feel and it feels luxurious so if you want to feel a bit extra special on the beach this year then I would highly recommend this bikini.
