This is my first ever blog challenge and I'm very excited about it. Steph from Seeing Spots accepted my request to join and here is my first challenge.

This time it was Beka from Beka's Stuffy Stuff that had chosen theme-horizontal stripes.

I really like stripes. I never used to before, but the last few years I have really started liking it.

I knew exactly what item in my wardobe to use in this challenge. This dress!









I bought it a while back at Tesco for some silly amount of £5 or £7... I saw it and I instantly fell in love. I love the monochrome and I love the stripes. It looks so nice and elegant and can be worn in so many different ways.It's made of a thick cotton fabric so it is a good item for autumn and winter as it feels warmer on. What I also love about this dress is that I get enough room for my boobs. I wore it yesterday and it was quite a cold day so I teamed it with this colourful boyfriend cardigan from Simply Be. They don't have this one on the website anymore as it is a while since I bought it, but I have never come around to wear it before. I put some coral lipstick on and a coral scarf I bought in Naples earlier this year and I think the whole style works. Not something I would normally do since the cardigan is quite bright and so is the dress with its big bold stripes. Definitely out of my comfort zone, but I was actually really surprised with how great this outfit felt on.
