#Here Is What I Would Have Spent- River Island

It's time for another one of the What I would have spent, which is a blogger challenge where we pick out the items from a fashion retailer that doesn't make their clothes in your size that we would have spent our money on. And this time it is River Island.

I have bought a few things from River Island in the past cause if it is oversized or stretchy I can find something that fits. But why do we have to compromise? Why can't ALL retailers have the same clothes in all sizes? Some clothes aren't meant for plus size women? Or clothes are designed differently for plus size women? Well first of all, why shouldn't we be allowed to wear trendy clothes as everyone else just because we are bigger? And if they need to make the clothes a bit different to cater for bigger curves? So what? I'm sure that they would make more money on the increased sales than the expense of designing the clothes a bit different.

I have had a look through the website and found this items that I would love to have bought if they had been in my size.

T-R: Black Geometric Racer Crop Top
B-L: Black Double Layer Crochet Shorts
B-R: Black Mesh Split Back Vest

Left: White Crepe Check Shirt Maxi Dress, Middle: Green Abstract Skater Dress Right: White Bandeau Pleated Tulle Dress

These were my choices. There are so many nice clothes out there that sadly doesn't fit my size which is such a shame, cause why aren't all clothes in a size range from size 0-?

What would you have chosen if you could choose freely of all brands?

  1. Loving the Black Mesh Split Back Vest, hopefully River Island will increase their size range at some point.
