The Rebel In Me*

Hello everyone.

Sorry for the delay in posting, but I'm not doing too well at the moment so please bare with me.

Today I have a special brand to introduce.

I have been waiting for the right time to show you this brand. It's called Sassi Rebel Clothing. The company was created in 2006 for plus size women that refuse to accept the world’s definition of beauty.  They want to show that plus size women are strong, sexy and confident women. Their clothes are made to stand out in a crowd and they allow you to create you own personal style instead of following what's on trend. These are clothes for women that dare to be themselves and stepping outside the box.

Celes Harvey is the woman behind this amazing and fierce brand and on her website she states that the mission of Sassi Rebel Clothing is to help plus size women feel beautiful and confident while redefining the industries definition of beauty. Such statements are music in my plus size ears.

Sassi Rebel Clothing is available in sizes from 10 to 26 & beyond as they say it on the website.

When Celes first contacted me if I wanted to collaborate with her I took a look at the website and was woved by the lovely prints and bright colours. It ticked my boxes and although I dominantly have got a very vintagy girly style, I do like to experiment. When I get offered to review something on my blog I try to go for something that is a bit out of my comfort zone if I can cause I like pushing limits.

I chose this lovely two tone maxi dress as I love animal print and I liked the use of different fabrics and textures in this dress. I also liked the colour of the dress and It's colours I normally never wear.

First Look

I have worn this dress in different ways since I got it and it is so nice. It's very flattering and very lovely fabric. The skirt is long and sheer so I chose to wear leggings under just to make sure I don't show off my panties as I don't think it would be a particular good look for work! Or even worse if I wore it to a family party. I need to get a slip to wear under it as I love the sheerness of the skirt. This dress gives me a great shape and I love the design of the bodice as it flatters my top heavy body without showing too much.

I'm 5'6 and on me this dress is floor length which I adore. When I walk in it, it gently sweeps behind me, it almost feels like it has got a train. It's definitely a dress for special occasions as it has the wow factor.
