Summer Style With New Look

Hello everyone.

I hope you all had a nice Easter break and had the chance to do some fun things. I managed to do quite a lot of different things, but I certainly made sure to make the most of the sun that was out. It's still not that warm, but I couldn't let the opportunity go away wearing a cute summerdress.

I was being so lucky to be asked by New Look if I wanted to review one of the holiday shop items and with my forthcoming holiday to Mexico I thought it would be a good way of chosing an item that I could style how I would style it for a day out exploring.

So I chose this beautiful white floral print bustier dress*.

Wearing
Dress from New Look (HERE)
Cardi from F&F (Old)
Shoes from Evans (Old)
Sunglasses from Modcloth (HERE)
Alice band from Ebay (HERE)

Isn't it stunning? When I received it and took it out of the packing, my first thought was how much more beautiful this dress was in real life. I mean it looked lovely on the internet too, but in real life you see the beautiful watercolours of this dress. Beautiful coral, peach, blue and green on a white textured background. It's so pretty. I love the texture as it has kind of a waffle texture as you can see in the last photo. The sweetheart neckline makes it so feminine and perfect for summer. The length hits me right on the knee and I'm 5'6. This dress has got straps, so no sleeves, but I don't mind that at all.  For my holiday style I teamed this with a simple yellow cardi as I didn't want it to take the attention away from the dress. I put on some lovely coral heels and my cat eye sunglasses from Modcloth. I don't like wearing much jewellery when it is hot so instead I chose to wear a cute pearl Alice band to get my hair away from my face.

I chose this dress in size 24 which is a great fit for me. In these days when sizing is so often way off it's nice to actually fit into my correct size. It's a little bit of a strech in the dress which makes it fit perfectly without feeling tight.

Until I go to Mexico and it is still quite cold here, I might team it with a denim jacket, leggings and ankle boots for a cute, but edgy style.

*gifted item, but views are all mine.

    1. This is what I'm wearing today. :) I'm sure you could pull of the lemon trend, or at least some yellow. It's about finding the right shade. :) I love all yellow shades though :)xx
