Holiday photos and outfits. (Picture heavy post)

I have almost finished my first week back at work since my holiday and it has been ok. I have been able to sleep better since I came back from holiday so that has made me happy. Haven't struggled with head aches either, so that is great. The dizzyness is there, but overall I have had a good week. I'm very much looking forward to the weekend though as I can't wait to get some more time to do things like blogging, arts and crafts, go swimming, go for walks and all the other nice things I don't get time to do during the week.

My holiday was lovely. Lovely weather the whole time we were in Spain and the perfect holiday to relax and just wind down from the stressful last few months.

I thought I would share some of my holiday photos with you so I will let the photos tell the rest..

The temperature was very hot the whole time we were in Spain.

Me wearing a lovely jersey dress from Very. I love this dress in the summer because of its bright colour. Love the cold shoulders and wrap around style. Wears it with cropped leggings from Sainsburys and my comfortable sandals from F&F that I have written about before. My favourite handbag bought in Naples and my new necklace Mike bought to me.

More shopping. I'm wearing an old tunic top from Evans, a few years old. Very versatile top. Wearing with cropped leggings and sandals from this summer also Evans. Love Evans shoes and boots so much.

Me in a swimsuit/swimdress that I got from a Facebook page brand new for £3.Bargain as it is so nice and comfy.

Spent a lot of time in the pool.

The skirt part of my swimming dress was very floaty hehe...

The house in the background is my sister in laws villa. Beautiful place.

Online shopping, ebay and work.

Holiday is over for this time and tomorrow it is work again. As usual I'm staying up far too late and I will suffer tomorrow. But I don't care, I only live ones and I love staying up late.

Tomorrow at work I know that it will be a lot of packets with lovely clothes waiting for me. I ordered a lot of stuff from New Look before I went and I also have won lots of auctions on Ebay while I was on holiday so I can't wait to get to the office to see all the goodies that are waiting for me. Some of the things that are waiting for me are these.

A bit of a leather theme going on here, but I love leather and I am still looking for more perfect concert outfits as I have a lot of concerts that I'm going to this autumn.

Ebay has become a bit of an obsession for me as well. Both selling and bidding. I find it hard sometimes to resist the urge to look if there might be something tempting that goes for a bargain price and again and again I find something I like. I'm sure that I will make outfit posts with lots of these things in the time to come.

So all in all I don't think it is such a bad first day back at the office.

Do you buy things from ebay?

Out of my comfort zone.

When I was on holiday I thought I would try and wear things that brought me out of my comfort zone as I tend to opt for the safe dresses and things I know I feel good in. But since getting into the whole plus size blogger community I have become better at trying new things that I have not worn for years and years because I haven't felt comfortable in it. The thing I have dreaded the most to wear is the denim shorts. I have not ever owned a denim shorts and have not worn shorts that short for over 20 years. I bought these Denim Shorts with Fringing  from Asos before I went to Spain. I tried them on before  I went and wasn't sure whether I liked it or not,but chose to bring them. In Spain it was very warm so it was the perfect opportunity to wear them. I paired them with an animal print top from George as Asda that I picked up for a couple of pounds. My trusted sandals from F&F was the safe bet for my feet since we were going to be out and about all day. Wanted a casual look with a Spanish twist so added a red flower in my hair, my lovely sunglasses from Asos and my signature lippy from MAC  and some new earrings I bought in Spain.  I have to admit that I loved the look and I felt very comfortable and stylish all day. Will definitely be wearing them again. It also felt so good that I had overcome another one of my "fears".
Do you have anything you don't feel comfortable wearing?

Summer isn't over-quite yet.

As some of you might know I'm on holiday in Spain. My sister in law had a villa down here with a lovely pool and gardens. The rather has been very warm, around 30-34 the whole week we have been here .so needless to say we have spent lots of time on the pool. I love swimming, but hate sunbathing so haven't bothered using the sun loungers that much. I'm so pale but have started tanning a bit easier with age, but I don't have patience to sunbathe. I have been doing quite a lot of shopping too and got some nice things which I will blog about when I get back to England. Shopping is quite good down here and prices are quite affordable too. Have taken some nice outfit photos for a later post, but today I have been out in my lovely maxi dress from New Look that I bought in the summer. It's from Ruby's Closet. It's been one of the items I wore most this summer. its well made and once again one of the nicer dresses from New Look. It has frill trim to sleeves(short sleeves), neckline and a shirred waist. I just saw that they have a few left of this lovely dress on New Looks website so go grab it while you can as it is so versatile and flattering. Also wearing animal print sunglasses bought in a street market in Amsterdam. My lippy is Russian Red by MAC and my sandals are some old, but soooooooo comfortable from F&F at Tesco. Going back home on Saturday so I will blog more then..X x x Mookie
