How Did A See Through Top Give Me The Boost I Needed?

I've always been very impulsive as a person and sometimes you can see that in what I'm wearing. Since starting this blog I've also wanted to push my barriers and force myself to wear something I want without thinking about what people might think or say about it. It also gives me an instant confidence boost if I'm the right mindset for it so it's a win-win situation.

So the other night when Mike and I went food shopping I was as very often pondering what to wear when I came up with this outfit.

How can it give you a boost by wearing a see through bra with a see through top over you ask? Well, I think that it stimulates your brain to reach for some courage when you do something a bit different and that you wouldn't normally wear or do. I had this net top that I bought from New Look a little while ago and I already was wearing jeans so I thought it looked cute together. That is was see-through and you could see my bra just made it even cuter. At least for the impulsive way I was thinking.

I bought this cardigan from ebay a few months ago and I've used it so much. I love the colour and it goes with most things. And up until lately it hasn't been so cold so I've managed to get away with not wearing a coat and that is where this cardigan has been a perfect addition to my wardrobe.

I'm also wearing my very comfy Sketchers. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned and I wear them all the time. I love the casual feel of wearing them with jeans.

Love the bold red lip with the mustard yellow.

This cardigan is a tradition grandad style cardigan and I love the little pockets.

I went to the shop wearing this and showed off my midriff and no one batted an eyelid. It gave me a strong confidence boost, something I'm in a big need of as I've been feeling very low lately. The bold colours, the bold fabrics and contrasts all makes this such a fun outfit and inspire me to become more daring. Or rather take back the daring side to me whenever I feel a bit in need of a boost.

What do you wear to push yourself out of your comfort zone?
