Wardrobe Staples Part 1. -LBD

Are you of those who say that you don't have anything to wear? No matter how much clothes you have got, you don't find anything to wear if you need to find an outfit in a hurry. Are your wardrobe like mine, an eclectic mix of patterns and colours or is it more of a neutral subtle one with things you can easily match? No matter what kind of style you have you got to have some staples that you can put on and feel fabulous in no matter what occassion.

One of these things are the LBD- Little Black Dress. For someone like me who loves colours it might sound a bit boring, but there are so many ways you can make a black dress stand out. Take a look at this beautiful Luciana from Tia for Curvety.*

This is pure elegance and quality. When Mike saw me in this dress he said "wow, that looks amazing on you". I have to admit that this dress made me feel so elegant and the fabric feels so exclusive on my skin. It's definitely a go to dress for a lot of different occasions. I can see myself wearing this dress to anything from a black tie birthday party to a funeral. And with the upcoming Valentines day maybe you need an elegant dress for going out to that posh restaurant you hope your other half has booked.  It's such a classic cut as well and it would work with all kind of body shapes as the fabric is silky smooth and flatters your curvy figure.

The stunning lace and sequin details to this dress are delicate. Stunning features that makes you ready for any party.

I accessorised this dress with some silver bangles and these pretty blue flats from New Look that I got in the sales for just a few pounds The patent pink "Lucky" clutch also from New Look that I paid only £2 for!! The colour combination of cobalt blue and bright pink is so pretty and add that little colour to the neutral outfit.

Curvety is a shop I've shopped from several times. They have lovely party dresses and I even bought my wedding dress from here. If you haven't shopped from them, go take a look as they have quality Kiyonna, Igigi and like this dress Tia. They also have plus size bridal wear so if you are engaged and still looking for that special dress take a look at their Bridal section, or do as I did and find a more untraditional wedding dress among the lovely collections.

    1. Hehe, with me it is red little dresses. I've got the wardobe full av red dresses, so I've had to stop myself from buying anymore. Black dresses are easy to wear. It's just that I love colours and think that a black dress can quickly be dull. But I've proven it to myself that it isn't. :)
