This post will be very photo heavy, but I'm showing off lots of different looks for the summer.

First up is the lovely swimsuit, hat and sarong from Yours Clothing*. I love this swimsuit so much and it's such good fit for me. It fits beautifully over my boobs and gives me a good lift and support when swimming. It's a really cute design as well as it's 50s style and that suits me perfectly. The sarong is in a beautiful ombre blue and turquoise and also comes in a bright vibrant red and orange as well so go take a look at the website here. The hat is also from Yours Clothing and is so versatile. Neutral colour that will go with all your summer favourites.













Secondly we have this stunning A-line dress* from Navabi with dipped hem. It's different tones of blue is stunning and it's a kind of a burntout material. It's from Exelle and it's really flattering and beautiful to wear. It's soft and the photos doesn't do this dress justice. It's one of these pieces that you can have for years and years and it stay in great condition. I love wearing it with cropped leggings as it's a bit short for my liking without. I'm wearing size 24 here and it's a great fit for me. I have to wear a vest top underneath, but if you're daring then wear it as it is, but it's quite revealing.




















Thirdly there is this stunning tankini from Curvy Kate via Brastop and is a stunning tankini in a bright red with yellow and orange accents. This tankini is good, but have potential to be so much better. I love the fact that there is underwires in this although too small for me, but it still adds to the support. The fabric is thick which means it gives great support as well. What lets it down is the straps! I don't understand why companies can't understand that when you've got bigger boobs you need wider straps. Or if not, then a lot more support around the back, cause two hooks around the back is not enough in the biggest sizes. I wish I could find swimwear or a bra with 4,5 or 6 hooks at the back cause that would give amazing support!! But it's so pretty and the bottoms from Curvy Kate are always good. I like the drawstring at the side as you can make the fit of the bottoms different as you like it or fits your bum/hips. Brastop is a great place to shop for reduced prices lingerie and swimwear. They have a lot of bigger sizes as well and an array of different brands. So if you haven't visited their website, go take a look!!!

















The final outfits contains items from one of my favourite plus size retailer Apples and Pears* clothing. It's run by the wonderful Liz and she is so friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of affordable plus size clothing.

This first item is a longline sleeveless shirt which I wore with my swimsuit for a cute lounge around the pool style. The colour is so on trend and I know I will get lots of wear out of this later in the summer and autumn as well as it will be nice to wear with a jumper and jeans as well.

















Some bonus photos from when we went to the beach and going to beach and going in the water. It makes me like a little child cause I love the water. My hubby have called me a mermaid since we met and he is spot on with that description.

I won't be able to attend myself as I'm busy on the day, but I will be looking forward seeing the photos of everyone dressed in all their best dresses and outfits.

This month I asked people if they wanted to write about their skin care and if it had changed over the years as we are getting older. Our skin is constantly changing and with age it loses it's elasticity and plumpness gradually, so what am I doing to prevent it as much as possible? I've never been very concerned about my skin and skincare is something that has come far down on the list of things to deal with. I've never had much spots apart from the odd breakout although my skin is very sensitive and get itchy and prickly very quickly.

Firstly I rarely wear any foundation or concealers that would clog up my pores. I hate the feeling wearing foundation gives me, so I'd rather try and make my skin look radiant so I don't have to cover it up. I don't care that much about redness in my face, although I do have a red face quite a lot of the time. It's me, it's who I am so I don't really worry about it.

Last week I was so lucky that I was chosen to go on live tv on ITV's This Morning. The week before a few of us proud plus size ladies had been in the Daily Mail showing off our bikini bodies and talking about body shaming. You can read this article HERE.

Boohoo is an online shop I shop from quite a few times a year for quick fashion. It's cheap and cheerful and always have things that current in the fashion picture, but also items that can survive in your wardrobe in the months and years to come.

When I was contacted by Boohoo if I wanted to take part in the Spring/Summer campaign We Are Us I said immediately yes as I like to experiment with new styles from time to time.

Since it's not quite warm enough for all the cute summer dresses I chose to to base my outfit around this lovely Isabella wrap front jumper * that I fell in love with straight away. It comes in three different colours, but I chose this beautiful light pink.

 Sometimes you see a dress that you wish that came in your favourite colour. Last year I saw this beautiful dress on some other bloggers in black and thought how beautiful it would've been in red which is my favourite colour. But in plus size clothing I don't normally has that many choices so I was tempted to buy the black one. I never got around to it.

Then this year I saw this dress in RED on a couple of other bloggers and I wasted no time. Since I had been so good this year and hardly bought any clothes I decided to treat myself to it. It was red and it had the classic vintage style that I like so much.

It's from Lovedrobe via Simply Be and from experience I know that Lovedrobe can come up small in size so I chose this dress in size 26 to give room for my boobs and that was a good decision. There is no stretch in this dress, so if you have big boobs then I would go for a bigger size than your normal size.

Easter was one of the rare occasions for my daughter and I to get together this year. She is in her last year of her education to become a youth worker so she is not getting as long holidays as regular students since she is working. Easter was therefore a much needed get together with her.

Living away from Norway goes very well most of the time, but I do miss her! I miss her presence, I miss her laugh, I miss our fights and I just miss everything about her. But all things considered we have a very good relationship and it was amazing to be able to spend this time with her.

We had five hectic days together and really made the most of everyday. My daughter's boyfriend had never been to London before, so we went up to London to show him around. It was a beautiful spring day with sunshine and mild temperatures. London normally is manic and hectic, but on this day it was rather quiet and peaceful. I don't think I've seen less tourists and people in general in London so that was to me such a great experience. New Forest was another place we went to. It's a place that is magical and I try to go there as often as I can, and it was fun to bring the youngsters with us there. Especially since my daughter loves horses.

I will let the photos tell the story in this blog post more than my writing, cause I think you can sense that we had a lot of fun and as we all know photos can tell more than 1000 words sometimes.

I've always been a big fan about vintage dresses and reproductions of vintage dresses in plus sizes and over the years, I've managed to build up quite a big collection of dresses, skirts, tops, handbags, shoes and accessories. I'm glad it is getting warmer out there so I can dress up more in my lovely colourful dresses with floral print, polkadots, plain ones and the ones with fun prints as well.

Quite a few of these dresses and skirts comes from Lady V London who is a company I wasn't too happy with the first time I bought from them as I got a faulty product and was asked to fix it myself. Needless to say I wasn't impressed and swore that I would never buy from them again. BUT that is quite a long time ago and the service has improved massively and the dresses they have and keep making are amazing.

The lovely Georgina Horne is still designing for them and it just makes me happy to see how much exciting prints and designs there are coming. Keep them coming, but please please please whatever you do, get back the Estella Dress and the fun lip print as they are my all time favourites!!!

What I like the most about Lady V London apart from the gorgeous prints and design of the dresses is that they cater for bigger plus sizes. I'm lucky enough to be able to pick in most stores "regular" sizes if they go up to 24, but for everyone above this is great as I know their dresses are massively popular among the bigger plus size girls as well as smaller.

I've decided to share all of my Lady V dresses and skirts I own with you here as I'm not even sure if I've shared all of them with you. Which by the way is long overdue, so here we go.

It's spring in the air and what better time to go on the first holiday of the year? In less than a month I'm travelling out to Spain for two weeks of sun, relaxing and swimming. Mike and I are travelling out towards the end of the month, and a few days into our stay we get company from Leah and James.

I'm looking so much forward to spending time with them and sharing all the lovely places that are close to my heart with them. I'm sure they will love it!! How can they not? Just look at these photos.
